ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æœSusie and I are heartbroken to learn of the tragic death of Sam Foltz ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ“ a young man whose exemplary character was evident to all who met him. Sam was a beloved son, a leader on his team, a role model in our community and, as a player and recent graduate, an extraordinary ambassador for the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ of Nebraska. His loss, and that of fellow Big Ten player Mike Sadler, is unthinkable. Susie and I join all Nebraskans in offering our love, comfort and prayers to SamÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ™s family, friends and teammates, and to our extended family at Michigan State. We cannot comprehend a loss of this magnitude, but we know that our community and countless lives are better because of SamÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ™s selfless leadership and service. Along with Coach Riley, Athletic Director Eichorst and Chancellor Green, our focus is on supporting SamÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ™s loved ones in any way we can in the difficult days and months ahead.ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ�
