Internships
Internship provides students with a supervised experience in a criminal justice agency/setting. Placements include, but are not limited to, Law Enforcement, Probation, Law Practices, and Prosecution/Defense agencies. Internships offer practical experience, along with career exploration in a professional setting.
UAF Justice students have participated in Internships through a variety of agencies including, but not limited to:
Adult/Juvenile Probation, Fairbanks Police Dept., ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ State Troopers, District Attorney’s Office, Public Defender Agency, ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Court System, offices of private attorneys, Fairbanks Community Restorative Justice (partnership with ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Court System), ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Court System, and UAF Office of Students Rights and Responsibilities.
