Outstanding Student of the Year
Every year the College of Liberal Arts asks each department to select their outstanding student(s) for that year- students who possess the passion and creativity for new discoveries and scholarship, students who demonstrate independence of thought and action in the pursuit of knowledge, and students who exemplify excellence.

"With my minor in ±õñ³Ü±è¾±²¹±ç, I'm hoping to teach my own family and my younger siblings and keep our dialect alive,
basically—and also be able to use my knowledge of ±õñ³Ü±è¾±²¹±ç in a counselor setting... being able to talk to Native people of my region in a language
that they understand, besides English."
